OK, so I’m done my massive project for work. Only lost one day of training…thank God today was a rest day. Tomorrow’s a test tri at the West Van Aquatic Centre - 20 minutes in the pool, 40 minutes on the trainer, 20 minutes on the treadmill. Then I go right into taper Sunday morning. [...]

Tonight’s open water swim with Peter and Jen was unfortunately called off by me at 9am this morning when a $2 million job hit my desk along with a due date of tomorrow afternoon.

Canada turned 141 years old yesterday. I celebrated it by spending a hour in the gym in West Van, then 35 minutes in the pool on a Zone 2 tempo swim, then two+ hours in traffic trying to get home cause some moron decided she wanted to throw herself off of the Ironworkers’ Memorial Bridge….no, [...]
